Don’t we all look like this?

NSW State Masters

Best of luck to all those participating to the last regatta of the season, the NSW State Masters Championships at SIRC.

JB Sharp Series – Glebe, Sunday 3rd June

Short course for the first regatta of the series. A trailer will be towed to Glebe for those who want to participate.
Registrations are only required if you want to race the 1x (please send your name, event, age, to AnnaC).

NOTE: you MUST be registered with RNSW to participate. If you have registered for this season, your membership is valid until 30 June 2018. You will need to re-register after 30 June if you want to compete. If you are currently not a RNSW member and want to race, please contact AnnaC.

LRC Corporate Challenge

It’s almost that time of year again when the whole club digs deep to help stage the LRC Corporate Challenge.

Last year was a great success and the money raised will help us buy some new boats soon and is going towards the re-surfacing of the pontoon in a few weeks. There will be a call for volunteers shortly but before then we need crews. Many of last year’s participants have already committed to coming back this year but we need more.

If you work at a company that might be interested, write to Justin immediately with the name of your organisation and the email of the person he should contact there: the CEO, or HR manager, or manager of your division – whoever you think might be the best target.

You can find this year’s brochure and more information at https://lrc.com.au/about/participation/corporate-challenge/

The membership fees we pay each year cover the overheads of the club but all of the boats and major improvements like the new carpet upstairs, the painting and the pontoon resurfacing are covered by the Corporate Challenge. Any help with getting more crews will be hugely appreciated by everyone.

Pontoon work

The surface of the pontoon will be worked on from 4th June. Projected time to finish the work is 3 weeks. There may be a couple of days where the pontoon is completely unusable. We will keep everyone posted if and when that is the case.
