Pymble Ladies College – 1st 1999 Schoolgirl Head of the River

Girls’ Head of the River

Good luck to Pymble Ladies, Olivia K and Lauren R competing tomorrow in the Schoolgirl Head of the River.

Boat Maintenance

All boat captains – please do organise your crews for boat maintenance. Some boats have not been done yet. We need the fleet in good order for the rest of the racing season.

Trickett regatta

This regatta will be at SIRC on 8 and 9 April.

More common races, especially in D and C grades, often have heats and finals, so racing should be planned carefully in order to avoid too many races in one day.

It has been the Club’s guideline to only accept entries for crews which have a chance of getting into finals, have been training regularly, and have demonstrated good results and progression during the season.

Exceptions may be considered, but as it’s an away regatta, there is a limited amount of boats that can be taken and turned around. Please consider carefully when submitting an entry as they are much more expensive than the Bay regatta entries.

The regatta committee will review all entries before accepting them and will notify the crew if an entry is rejected. Please talk to Anna Cico if you want clarification or are considering an entry which may not be fulfilling the guidelines, to avoid disappointment.
