Happy New Year everyone. Hope it is a good one for you and your family.
Property Master report
There seems to be an increase in “this boat is broken and someone else should fix it” issues:
- People not fixing what they break
- People not fixing breakages when they find them
Not all breakages / problems are fixable on the spot, but many are. Fix them if you can or report them via the whiteboard in the shed.
Boat Maintenance Day – for Taree crews this weekend
If you are racing at Taree you are expected to carry out a full detailed maintenance on you boat this Saturday or Sunday with your crew. Best time is after your row.
A list of boats going and those crews responsible is on the Race Entries board at the bottom of the stairs. This is compulsory. If something breaks during your race you will have no one to blame but yourself.
Get your crew organised now.
Entries go in this Monday. Check them as soon as they are released on Rowing NSW. Let us know if there are any errors asap.
A preliminary entry list will be on the notice board and website soon.
Remember on the Saturday night at Taree we have our traditional club dinner. Family and friends welcome. All members are expected to front.
As the new year starts, refresh your memory by visiting our governance pages where you will find the constitution and our strategic objectives, and if you are not already familiar with them, take a look at the rules of the Club.
