Reminder to Complete Boat Maintenance
From the Captains
It is extremely important that we work together as a club to maintain our fleet. Many of you have been maintaining your allocated boats lately which has been fantastic to see, we need to keep this up. The captains now have a new spreadsheet system going which makes logging and tracking of maintenance much easier. Please relay to your squad leader/ captain when you have maintained your boats and any details regarding replacements, orders etc.
Now that the head races season is in full swing, it would be very impressive if we were all sporting our new Premiership winners t’shirts. There are still plenty of men’s sizes left and a few women’s sizes. For the subsidised price of only $10, you too can look like part of the team. Either go to the LRC shop online or bring your $10 note to the club this weekend, find Nancy and get yours.
“WHAT A STEAL. MUCH BARGAIN” – men’s VC
“Our boat moves 3.5 parsecs faster when we all wear our shirts” – Anonymous
“It’s comfy, and easy to wear” – Youngster Timmy, route 3
“It beats the blazer for both price and wearability” – not Steve
IT’S COMING UP TO CHRISTMAS PARTY TIME!!!
LRC will again be holding a big Christmas Party featuring Glazed Leg Hams and many other delicious dishes to please the fussiest of eaters (gluten free and vegan included).
This is a family event with games (yes, the snails will be back by popular request) and a Lucky Dip. We will be running a bar with the usual super low club prices.
