Last Saturday a small group competed out at SIRC in rather tough conditions. From late morning the regatta was conducted under Level 1 heat management rules and by the time racing concluded the temperature had reached 35 degrees. Despite the rather warm weather, our Leichhardt crews did very well.

Also a massive thank you to Alex Kempson who towed the boats and helped crews on and off the water, despite not being scheduled to be racing at this regatta. All those who raced really appreciated your help and encouragement, we can’t thank you enough.
