Boat Licence

LRC will run an in-house boat licence course on Wednesday 22 April 2015, from 5.30pm.

If you want to participate, fill out a Boat licence form and send to the email address specified on the form.

The cost of the course is $46.

All attendees are all required to study the ‘Boating Handbook” available from Maritime, RMS (also online) or any Marine Rescue base prior to the seminar and a practice of sample tests on the RMS website is also recommended.

A pen and your NSW drivers licence is required on the night.

If you do not hold a drivers Licence you must bring photographic Identification (see this document for ID requirements). You are also required to obtain a letter from your doctor or optometrist stating your eye site ability in relation to obtaining a boat licence (they will know what is required) if you do not then you will be required to attend the RMS or maritime and complete the eye site test there when lodging the licence application which will be issued on passing the test.

All Young Adult applications require a parent or guardian to co-sign the form.
