The community interest in experiencing the sport of rowing has increased in popularity over recent years. To accommodate this interest the Leichhardt Rowing Club has developed an Introduction to Rowing Day. This day allows the local community the opportunity to come down to the rowing club and learn about rowing, the club, the rowing technique, and experience rowing on the Iron Cove in a safe and controlled environment. 

The Introduction to Rowing day is scheduled periodically throughout the year.

This event is designed to retain the contact details of interested parties so once a date is scheduled, we can proactively and easily inform everyone who has expressed interested and can provide more information about what is involved and what to expect during the Introduction to Rowing Day.
