Coaches may elect to test their crews at different times and pass the information on to Tim Tindale. Rowers who cannot make the time to complete their erg tests must do so in the week ending either Saturday or Sunday as per the calendar above.

Time Trials

Time Trials for women and men will take place on Monday. Starters must marshal in front of UTS Rowing works at 5:50am and await instructions from the starter. The start is a running start. Scullers and rowers will then proceed towards “Pellegrini’s” and then execute a sharp turn around a time trial boat before return to the finish line off UTS Northern buoy. The course must be completed at set ratings so a stroke coach or similar equipment is necessary. This event will cater for approximately 20 crews. When 20 entrant boats consistently take part, a second time trial morning will be notified as required.

Coaches may elect to conduct their own time trials. The results of these should be presented to the selection committee on an ongoing basis.
