Small Boats Regatta Wrap Up

Last Saturday a small group competed out at SIRC in rather tough conditions. From late morning the regatta was conducted under Level 1 heat management rules and by the time racing concluded the temperature had reached 35 degrees. Despite the rather warm weather our Leichhardt crews did very well.

Navigation Alert and Changes To Iron Cove – Please Take Note!

Sydney Metro will be conducting essential geotechnical investigations, a Barge will be moored in the bay from Monday 14 December. LRC members will have to stop at Rodd Point and turn safely to the other side of the bay.

Always only take plastic water bottles into boats and please do not drop them into boats as this can damage the boat hull.

Remembering Olympian and former LRC member Stuart Mackenzie

Former LRC member Stuart Mackenzie, who won a silver medal in rowing in the 1956 Olympics and qualified in two other sports, recently passed away in the UK.
