The Petrin Collection

On behalf of Barry Moynahan

On Saturday 28th May 2016, 11.00am – 2.00pm, a unique opportunity has arisen to view the remarkable rowing archives, library and memorabilia collected by Louis Petrin. Louis is well known to rowing supporters and competitors both young and old as a popular and competent NSW Boat Race Official and historian.

This extensive and rare collection of both international and national interest, extends from the early 1800’s to present, and has been acquired through auctions, the World Wide Web and personal archives through Louis’s own initiative and personal expense.

NSW State Masters

Well done to all those who participated in the NSW State Masters last weekend.

LRC picked up its share of medals with 6 golds, 14 silvers and 11 bronzes.

A few of these rowers are continuing to train for the National Masters Championships which will be in Queensland from the 2nd of June.
Good luck to all who will compete on Lake Kawana! (We know it will be choppy...)

Many others are taking some time off. Enjoy the pontoon quiteness for a while...

Fees

From 1 July, the new fees will be due. Amounts and procedures to renew the membership will be published very soon.

Rack space renewals will also be due at the same time. We will keep you posted.
