Leichhardt Rowing Club

Welcome to Leichhardt Rowing Club, located on the picturesque waters of Iron Cove Bay in Sydney's inner-west. Established in 1886, we're one of Australia's oldest rowing clubs and have evolved to become one of the largest clubs in the country, offering excellent indoor and outdoor rowing facilities.

We take pride in our history of an inclusive culture, including being an early adopter of supporting women in sport. Our diverse membership and partnership with Pymble Ladies College reflect our commitment to engaging members of all backgrounds and life stages. Our Junior Rowing Program is designed to nurture the next generation of rowers, while our team of masters coaches caters to the needs of aspiring and experienced Masters Rowing members.

Strong competitive spirit has been ingrained in our club from its founding days. With a proud history of wins at national and international competitions, our members continue to strive to reach new heights and regularly represent New South Wales at Australian interstate championships.

Leichhardt Rowing Club rich history and success have been made possible by the dedication of our members and volunteers. We're bound together by rowing, teamwork, and social activities that foster inclusion and wellness. Join us and experience the joys and thrill of rowing in a supportive and welcoming community.
